Terms and Conditions
CVT DIRECT is a trading name for Carpet Vinyl Tiles Direct Ltd. Carpet Vinyl Tiles Direct Ltd is a registered company, number 14779118 and VAT registered, number GB 442 4063 23.
All purchases are subject to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Changes are effective once posted on this website. By using our website you agree to our Terms and Conditions. We will make every effort to ensure that items are in stock but cannot guarantee availability. By placing an order with us, you are acknowledging you have read and understood the terms below.
Contract
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us (CVT DIRECT) and you (the customer) will take place when the goods have been paid for by you and dispatched by us. Any email order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by CVT DIRECT of your order. In the event that there are any errors regarding price or description we reserve the right to notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to proceed with a revised order at the correct price/description or to cancel the order. In such circumstances, upon cancellation your credit/debit card will be refunded in full.
Prices
All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last. If an error has resulted in an incorrect sales price being displayed we reserve the right to correct the price and notify you. In these circumstances it will be deemed that a contract has not been entered into, and you will not be bound to continue with your purchase. We will ask you to confirm by email that you wish to proceed at the correct sales price. Should you choose not to proceed, we will arrange to refund your credit/debit card in full. We reserve the right to change our prices in line with increasing costs.
Ordering
We only accept orders from holders of credit or debit cards registered in the United Kingdom and payments are taken through the platform Stripe. Stripe will take the payment and provide an invoice. We only accept orders from and deliver to addresses located in the United Kingdom. Payment of orders is made online before goods can be dispatched.
We will confirm receipt of your order by email as an acknowledgement only and this does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order. The email confirmation will verify quantity and prices of the goods ordered. If there are any discretions, we will contact you for instructions or reject the order and notify you.
A contract exists when payment has been received and goods have been dispatched. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you. The only language in which the contract can be concluded is English. We cannot be held responsible for costs occurring as a result of delayed or cancelled deliveries.
We suggest that before placing an order, you contact us to check your item is available in stock. This will allow us to check stock and validate your details including the delivery address. We can also check that there are no restrictions related to delivery and provide options for delivery. For items that are not currently in stock we can advise on availability and keep you informed.
If you place and pay for an order and your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. If you cancel your order after the goods have been dispatched from the manufacturer/distributor you could be liable for handling and/or transport costs.
By placing an order through our site, you are confirming that:

- -You are accessing our site from the UK
- -You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
- -You are over 18 years of age
All delivery timescales are given as estimates. Products are paid for in advance of delivery. CVT DIRECT will store details of your order and these details can be made available on request. Please email us at sales@cvtdirect.co.uk.
If a refund is arranged, please allow 3-5 days for the refund to clear.
Validation Checks for Card Holders
Credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Colours and Specifications
Representations of colour online are as accurate as photographic and electronic processes allow. Free samples of our products are available, and we strongly recommend you request a sample for confirmation – you can request 3 free samples at any time. We cannot be held responsible for the wrong choice in colour or product being ordered. The exact same colour is not guaranteed on subsequent orders due to possible batch colour variations and we recommend that you order 10% extra on your first order, to allow for any cuts/spares. There is the option to add this when you order.
Email Promotions
All sales promotions received by email are subject to stock availability and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers available. Discount codes can only be used once per person and expire 14 days from the date the email was sent, unless a longer period has been stated.
Commercial Floor Fitting Service
CVT Direct is a supply only business. We don’t offer a floor fitting service. If you require your flooring to be fitted in a commercial setting, we can put you in touch with a reputable fitter. Please contact us to enquire sales@cvtuk.co.uk or 0345 121 1234.
